The 2013 Calendar Photo Contest is officially underway!  

See the current Announcement thread in our forums for details.  New this year, all entries must be submitted via a special email account.  All accepted entries will be posted on the website in a special photo album and we will be rotating images on the homepage frequently.  All submissions must be sent to PhotoContest@GeocacheAlaska.org and have the tag [PHOTO CONTEST] as the subject line.  In the body of the message you must include the Alaskan cache GC# and Name that the photo was taken at, the name and geonickname of the photographer, the category you are entering the photo in (see forum for details), and the names of any recognizable people in the photo.  If you have a title or caption for the photo, please include that as well.  The photo contest is open to all current Sourdough and Cheechako members of GeocacheAlaska! 

To join GeocacheAlaska!, please click here to download a printable membership form or click here to use PayPal or a major credit card.  A basic "Cheechako" Membership is free while a "Sourdough" Membership is $20 per calendar year, which is tax deductible.  PayPal can also be setup for automatic annual renewal.  Sourdough Members get a geocachealaska.com email address, enjoy voting rights and are eligible for event and merchandise discounts.  by-laws (40k pdf) for more details (a By-law update is coming soon).
