The GeocacheAlaska! Advocacy Committee is dedicated to
the establishment and maintenance of mutually beneficial relationships
with local and state land managers to preserve and develop Geocaching in
the state of Alaska
The GeocacheAlaska! Education Committee is dedicated to
hosting continuing education events for beginner, intermediate and
advanced geocachers in order to enhance individual and group safety,
awareness, and enjoyment of geocaching in general and geocaching in
Alaska.
Provide free educational materials related to
geocaching on the GeocacheAlaska! website and links to other
resources.
Post notices of other regional geocaching
educational opportunities on the GeocacheAlaska! website.
Sponsor education events targeting potential
geocaching recruits in Alaska; by assisting Alaskan organizations
(co-sponsoring), by directly organizing recruiting events at
different locales, and by assisting GeocacheAlaska! members with
individual outreach events.
